Yum available on Cirrus Tech Linux VPS Plans

We’ve recently updated our Linux VPS Plans to include Yellow dog Updater, Modified (YUM). By including Yum as part of our Linux VPS Plans, you can take advantage of the benefits Yum offers right off the bat instead of having to manually install Yum yourself.

What is Yum?

Yum is an open source package management utility for RPM-compatible Linux operating systems. Yum allows Linux VPS users to update, install, and remote packages easily. Instead of having to figure out dependencies and the order things need to occur when installing packages, Yum figures it out for you. Yum automatically computes package dependencies and makes updating, installing and removing packages a breeze.
