OS Upgrade for Dedicated Servers
Toronto, ON – October 2007 Cirrus Tech Ltd has enhanced its dedicated server hosting offerings to not only keep pace, but also, to go above and beyond its competitors in the industry.
As part of our Dedicated Server Hosting Plans, two new upgrades have been introduced to our dedicated servers; one of which is FedoraCore6, a new operating system for Linux servers. Fedora Core 6 provides various improvements on the desktop, including a new default font and theme, the latest releases of GNOME and KDEand additional options in window managers.
The other operating systems that Cirrus Tech. is making available to its dedicated server hosting clients is the CentOs5. CentOs5 is an Enterprise-class Linux Distribution derived from sources freely provided to the public by a prominent North American Enterprise Linux vendor. These products are being offered for free to clients using a dedicated server hosting solution, and they truly enhance the choices available to clients in choosing what they are most comfortable with, and what serves their purposes best.
