A Windows VPS, or a Windows Virtual Private Server, is an isolated environment on a physical Windows server which shares all the server resources with all other VPSes. Each VPS performs and executes exactly like a stand-alone server for its users and applications as it can be rebooted independently and has its own root access (administrator password, in the case of Windows server), users, IP addresses, memory, processes, files, applications, system libraries and configuration files.
Virtual private servers serve the purpose of having a dedicated server for companies/resellers who need a dedicated hosting environment for their mutiple domains but are not running high resource consuming applications and web site(s).
With a VPS, you are going to have the same level of control you have on a dedicated server but you will be paying significantly lower prices. Each VPS has its own independent operating system, web server, mail server, FTP server, web site hosting control panel and applications.

With Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition on one of our Windows VPS plans, you have complete control over your VPS in a familiar Windows environment. Remotely login to your VPS with Remote Desktop to manage your VPS or use the industry leading Plesk Control Panel that comes with all our Windows VPS plans.

Plesk Control Panel: Manage your VPS through the industry leading Plesk Control Panel. You can easily install web applications, create users, and monitor your usage details all through an easy to use interface. Plesk is not available on our VPS Plan I.
Advance users can choose not to have Plesk installed on their VPS.

PowerPack: With PowerPack, you can install powerful applications such as SpamAssassin Anti-SPAM Software and Dr.WEB Anti-Virus directly from your Plesk Control Panel.

Dedicated Resources: All Cirrus Tech VPS plans come with a dedicated amount of diskspace,RAM, and CPU.
These resources are not shared with other VPS containers whether or not you're utilizing all your resources.

Burstable Resources: Our VPS plans are able to utilize additional resources in short periods, or "bursts", to ensure that your VPS is able to handle spikes in resource demands.

Domains License: Most of our VPS Plans come with a 30 Domains license that allows you to host a total of 30 domains. Because the domains license requires Plesk, it is not available on our VPS Plan I.
