Security and Hardening
All of the applications setup by default on the servers are reviewed and tested against many security threats from time to time to ensure the servers are as secure as they can be. Although we do our own due diligence, it may be possible that some of the latest patches are not installed. If you do find any security issues with our installations, our support staff will be happily assisting you to resolve them.
Data Protection and Hardware
We host all of our VPS/VM data on two separate redundant storages, each with RAID 10, and all of the physical servers (hypervisors) benefit from redundant architecture. We do keep ourselves responsible to protect your data and also to maintain and manage every bit of physical layer of our infrastructure. Regardless of how redundant our setup is, our SLA is 100% and so in case of any hardware failure, replacements will be setup within minutes or in worst cases in hours.
Things that are beyond our scope of support
Data Staging and Backup
Although we have a strict data protection policy and we do have redundant storages but we advise our clients to take snapshot backups of their data to protect themselves against accidental data loss or data deletions. At the end of the day, our double synced storages sync the live data and in real time. If you delete a copy, all the copies are lost. You can always inquire from our sales team about our backup offerings other than the FREE manual backup option, already included in your VPS/VM package.
Third Party Scripts & Applications
As much as our support team would like to help our customers, but they are not capable of debugging source codes or assisting with the development of websites or applications. Furthermore, in cases where codes contain security flaws or are already compromised the amount of support our team can provide is very much limited – in most cases situations like these are beyond our scope of support.
