As for the support, This is where Cirrus really is on top of the others. There is no need to call their tech support line as their online ticketing system is easy to use and they are quick to reply with useful and detailed information. It’s good to know that support is available 24/hrs/day everyday.

1. Performance
The VPS has plenty of resources to provide the necessary computing power to allow people to quickly access the over 100 domains which Apexia is currently hosting on the VPS.

2. Reliability
The VPS currently has Parallel’s Plesk 10.4 installed on it and the various micro-updates which are available from time to time are easily installed through the Plesk control panel.  Backing up the VPS is an easy process using the control panel provided by Cirrus.  All the programs/processes running on the VPS have, for the most part, been running issue free for over one year now.

3.  Support Staff
This is where Cirrus really is on top of the others.  There is no need to call their tech support line as their online ticketing system is easy to use and they are quick to reply with useful and detailed information.  It’s good to know that support is available 24/hrs/day everyday.

4. Network/Uptime
It appears that the network has been designed to provide reliable connectivity to the Internet with acceptable latency values.  The VPS uptimes are normally only interrupted during regular maintenance periods.

5. Value
I moved my hosting from an in-house server which I had to purchase and maintain the hardware, install and configure the necessary software, ensure the UPS’s and gas generator were properly functioning as well as ensuring the network and Internet connection stayed up.  I had to keep renewing the Plesk licence each year as well.  Now with using the VPS all the above is handled by Cirrus.   I now sleep better knowing that if the power goes off at the office it won’t affect my hosting customers.  An additional bonus, if you include the cost of electricity and office space rental, moving to a VPS does save you money.”

Nothing Compares to Cirrus Tech.

I have used a number of reasonably priced hosting services but nothing compares to Cirrus Tech’s hosting.

Their pricing is competitive, the packages they offer are comprehensive and the downtime is negligible. The control panel for managing site administration is the best I have used – fast and easy. However, where Cirrus stands out from the rest is in the speed, quality and helpfulness of customers support. With some other hosting services you can wait days for an answer to an e-mail and don’t even bother trying to call. With Cirrus, e-mails are answered promptly and I have even spoken to knowledgeable support staff on the telephone (which was answered within a few rings). I host a number at Cirrus and plan to move all my sites to them as soon as possible.

Probably my favorite feature (and main reason for choosing Cirrus) is the great control panel.
