Server Management Feature Details


 

Managed Services & Assistance: Cirrus Tech staff will be on hand to support your server management activities that are beyond the scope of a standalone dedicate server. Some examples of services and assistance are:

  • Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of supported software applications
  • Email set-up and management
  • Domain set-up and management
  • Resource monitoring  

Managed Remote Backup: A Cirrus Tech technician will configure your remote back-up process and make any requested changes to the scheduling of backups. Our technicians will also restore any backups when required.  

24/7 Emergency Support: Our support staff is available 24 / 7 in the event of an emergency. In the event support is required outside of regular business hours (9:00 am - 5:30 pm EST), the included time will be consumed at a doubled rate.

24 hour Hardware replacement: In the event of a hardware failure, we promise to replace the hardware within 24 hours from the time the hardware is verified as faulty.  

Software Firewall Management: Our managed firewall solution is available to all our dedicated server clients and is configurable to meet your requirements.

Ping Monitoring: In order to ensure a fast response time of your servers, Ping Monitoring is conducted periodically and any detected errors are resolved and communicated to you.

O/S Security Update: You can have one of our technicians to automatically install any operating system security updates or have them notify you when a new security update is available.

Managed DNS / Nameserver: With the ability to use our name servers for hosting additional domains, you can elminate the time and costs of setting up your own name servers.

There is a $0.50 charge for each additional domain name that uses Cirrus Tech's name servers above the 1 included in each dedicated server hosting plan.

Additional Hourly Support Rate: If you require more support, you can easily purchase additional non-recurring or recurring support hours in a particular month to your server management plan.
